Check Valve Trim & Accessories
STELLITE FACED TRIM: The mating faces of the clapper and seat are weld inlayed with 1/16" thickness Stellite No. 21 or Stoody 21 to give a super hard surface for long life.
STAINLESS STEEL FACED TRIM: The mating faces of the clapper and seat are weld inlayed with 1/16" thickness stainless steel. Unless some other alloy stainless steel is specified, 316/316L SS will be supplied.
METAL-TO-METAL SEAT: For high temperature applications. Bolted top construction with flat asbestos cover seal for services to 800°F. For service 800°F and above cover seal will be RTJ.
RENEWABLE SEAT RING: A carbon steel ring or 316/316L SS recessed into the check valve body provides the upstream sealing surface for the clapper and can be replaced if worn or damaged to effect a new seal face.
EPOXY RESIN INTERNAL COATING: Internal lining of check valve with 3M Scotch Kate 101 to provide corrosion resistance and retard paraffin build up.
BUNA N SEAL: Cover and clapper seals in Buna N compound for temperatures of 200°F continuous service.
VITON SEAL: Cover and clapper seals compounded of Viton A synthetic rubber for high temperature service not to exceed 400°F continuous operation.
TEFLON SEALS: Cover and clapper seals in Teflon compound for temperatures of 450°F continuous service.
FLEX GASKET OR SPIRAL WOUND GASKET: Cover seal for temperatures above 400°F to 800°F. 800°F and above will be RTJ ring seal.
RING TYPE JOINT GROOVE IN RANGES: Extra charge for ring joint grooves in raised face flanges (Fig. 100) on ANSI 150, 300, 600 and 900 only.
VERTICAL FLOW UP/DOWN: For vertical flow up or down modifications need to be made to valve.
